No Bull Support facilitators

There are now close to 100 fully trained No Bull Support facilitators working across Victoria.  These facilitators have been trained to educate and support lay people who have contact with families and individuals affected by natural disasters, such as drought and bushfires (for example, vets, volunteers, hairdressers, teachers, small business owners, community leaders etc).

Resources, news and a forum (password required) for facilitators can be found using the links on the left.

If you would like to become a trained NBS facilitator, you need to be a Counsellor/Rural Support Worker with the ability to run workshops in your community.  The NBS facilitator workshop (where you will learn to do this) includes:

  • A detailed explanation of the 3 ½ hr NB Support Workshop
  • Opportunities to reflect on facilitation styles and strategies
  •  Resources you will need to facilitate the program, which have been revised for 2009

The next NBS facilitator training will be held on Monday 23rd November, at The Bouverie Centre.
