Aged Persons Mental Health

Sue-Ellen Radford is the new contact person for Aged Person’s Mental Health within the Mental Health Program at The Bouverie Centre. Sue-Ellen is a Social Worker and Family Therapist who has worked in all 3 domains of mental health service provision- Aged Persons, Adult and Child & Adolescent. She will work in this position for half a day a week, with the ultimate aim of expanding the role of The Bouverie Centre within the sector. 

Over the next 12 months Sue-Ellen will explore how to best promote and support Family Sensitive Practice within Aged Psychiatry. In addition she will examine the practice implications of the family research undertaken by Pam Rycroft & Pam Copperwaite from The Bouverie Centre with Eastern Health/Peter James Centre Aged Person’s Mental Health. 
 
Sue-Ellen welcomes contact from those in the field regarding training requests and is also available for clinical consultations. She can be contacted at The Bouverie Centre on Monday & Tuesday.
