Brief explanation of our Structure:
The Centre has a highly integrated structure that is comprised of 6 Major Program Areas (MPA) in some in some institutes they may be called departments eg: Clinical or Services to Families, Academic Courses, Community Services or Services to Agencies, Research and Resource Development or Marketing.
All our smaller programs, sub programs, projects, teams, courses and activities relate to these major program areas in some way either a direct primary accountability or in some cases a shared accountability and connection to more than one area.
The programs described in this section are therefore more akin to subprograms they include two Teams (ABI and Community) that are quite different in their makeup and function. The ABI Team contains elements of all the major program areas in the Bouverie Centre but with specific reference to the plight of Families who have a member who have experienced ABI (Aquired Brain Injury). While the Community Team is involved primarily with the Community Services major program area in developing specific training, consultation and implementation packages. The Mental Health Program spans a number of major program areas but is mainly focused in the provision of services to agencies and to the broader mental health community as well it historically represents our priority work area in regard to our core funding.
