The Bouverie Centre is delighted to be hosting an interactive workshop by Vikki Reynolds from Canada. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and instructor, she supervises and supports frontline workers who work alongside marginalized clients.
She believes we can be of use in community work that happens in contexts of social injustices. When we operate in alignment with our ethics, embrace a spirit of solidarity, and collective responsibility, we can sustain ourselves and shore up each other in this challenging work.
In her only public workshop in Melbourne this year, she will address Collective Ethics and creating Cultures of Critique, "Leaning In" as allies in A Supervision of Solidarity, and other dynamic topics.
