Australian and New Zealand citizens and permanent residents of Australia enrolled in a higher degree by research will not normally pay tuition fees. The Australian Government's Research Training Program (RTP) provides eligible candidates with a fee offset scholarship for up to a maximum period of four years' full-time equivalent study for a doctorate by research and two years' full-time equivalent study for a Master's by research.
The RTP Fees Offset Scholarship is paid directly to the University on your behalf to offset costs for tuition and institutional support of your studies. Not all candidates will receive a RTP Stipend Scholarship or living allowance.
