Recognising and responding to suspected elder abuse: Professional education workshops

In response to the findings of the Royal Commission into Family Violence, the Victorian Government is implementing an integrated model of care for responding to suspected elder abuse, which is being trialled for 12 months at Latrobe Community Health Service, Melbourne Health, Monash Health, Peninsula Health, and Western Health. One of the key funded components of the model is the provision of professional education for staff and partners of the five health services regarding how to respond to suspected elder abuse.

See below for further details about upcoming workshops and to register. A note about registering - Please ensure you click on the “Confirm Registration” button after submitting your initial details, otherwise we cannot guarantee your place in the training.
